John Riley Andrews, son of Alfred ANDREWS & Phoebe Jane BLEVINS, was born May 12, 1860, in Grayson Co., VA, and d. Feb. 12, 1940. He married Frances Cheek, daughter of Richard M. CHEEK & Frances "Frankie" CROUSE, Aug. 16, 1888, in Alleghany Co., NC. She was born Aug. 7, 1867, in Alleghany Co., NC, and d. Feb. 12, 1956. John and Frances are buried at the Crab Creek Primitive Baptist Church, Hwy 18 at Road 1450, Ennice, Alleghany Co., NC.

1. Lucy Zettie Ann Andrews, b. Feb. 14, 1893, Grayson Co., VA; d. Sept. 22, 1991, Alleghany Co., NC; m. Steve Jackson SPURLIN, son of Eli SPURLIN & Charity MOXLEY (b. Mar. 4, 1891; d. June 14, 1970); bur. Crab Creek Primitive Baptist Church, Ennice, Alleghany Co., NC. Reportedly, her full name was Lucy Wadie Juanita Zettie Ann Andrews.
2. Dewey Martin Andrews, b. June 7, 1899, Grayson Co., VA; d. Jan. 1, 1987, Alleghany Co., NC; m. Marie SMITH (b. Apr. 9, 1907; d. Oct. 13, 1990). Reportedly, his full name was Dewey Martin Arthur Young Andrews.
