He married Martha Edwards, daughter of Starling EDWARDS & Amy WILES, Nov. 11, 1866, in Alleghany Co., NC. She was born Nov. 10, 1847, in Ashe Co., NC, and died Oct. 16, 1912, in Alleghany Co., NC. Isaac and Martha Edwards are buried on the Arthur Jones Farm, Bledsoe Creek, near Sparta, Alleghany Co., NC.
