He married Wady Joines, daughter of Ezekiel JOINES & Jane "Jennie" CROUSE, abt. 1861. She was born Apr. 2, 1845, in Ashe Co., NC, and died June 25, 1916, in Alleghany Co., NC. David C. Caudill and Wady Joines Caudill are buried at the Union Primitive Baptist Church in Whitehead, Alleghany Co., NC.
