Meredith Richardson, son of Alexander RICHARDSON & Martha CHEEK, was born Aug. 7, 1839, in Ashe Co., NC, and died June 16, 1903, in Alleghany Co., NC. He married Narcissa "Sessie" Joines, daughter of Thomas JOINES, Jr., & Lydia HOPPERS, abt. 1861. She was born Mar. 3, 1837, in Ashe Co., NC, and died Apr. 26, 1922, in Alleghany Co., NC. Meredith and Sessie are buried at the Thomas Joines Cemetery, Road 1133, Alleghany Co., NC.
